Jelly Love
When I couldn't take care of my baby...these women did it for me. I wish I had a photo of all of them. There were more. Jelly and me. How lucky we are to have them.

Mother's Day
What a perfect day for a blog entry.
Not sure why I couldn't blog through my pregnancy, just couldn't. It was like I didn't want to draw attention to myself, trying to fly under the radar.
I had a typical first trimester. Green with morning sickness, belching, sciatica, a kicking gag reflex and a thickening waistline right around the beginning of the second trimester.
Second trimester was afloat of maternal bliss. A perfectly cute round belly, great big apetite, sleeping well, no heartburn. Just diffuculty with pelvic pain and that gag reflex. Would feel the baby, then wouldn't feel a thing for days. It made for a nervous mamma. On Valentine's Day, I spent the afternoon on a monitor at the hospital to find that the baby was moving like a champ. Put my mind at ease.
Third trimester: Oh lawd I'm big! Difficulty sleeping, episodes of riding the hormonal runaway train, pelvic pain that stopped walking for exercise, crazy extremity edema, first signs of stretch marks, though not too bad!!! The great thing is that I feel Juliet move all the time and it makes me calm and happy to know that she is OK. She gets the hiccups every night that jolt my belly! She's moving furniture in there, namely my lower right rib. She seems to want to push it out some!! I notice that she sleeps at night a lot when I do. What a cutie!
